The foster home is the shelter dog’s first step out of homelessness and towards their new forever family. Fostering a dog is extremely rewarding; words cannot describe the feelings of watching a scared, thin dog thrive and become the beautiful companion that can now be placed with a new family. The foster family provides valuable insight into the dog’s personality so that a good match can be made with a potential adopter.

100% of your donation helps pets in need. We assist those who choose to adopt these pets knowing that there are medical challenges, by paying an agreed upon percentage of the veterinary costs necessary to care for their new family members.
We believe that every dog deserves a loving home. Most of our dogs have been overlooked in shelters due to age or medical conditions, or because they are shy. They are not broken or bad, they just need a little extra love and care. Please consider adopting a H.E.L.P. dog.
